About Us

Progressive Health of Houston (formerly known as Trace Regional Hospital) is a ??-bed hospital located in Houston, MS.

The hospital opened in 2001 and has grown into a team of nearly 400 associates trained to provide the highest level of patient care. Our primary medical facility, which is centrally located off of Interstate 55, offers quality health care services in emergency care, surgery, radiology, labor and delivery, cardiopulmonary services, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, pharmacy and primary care. Progressive Health of Batesville also offers pediatrics, sleep, adult medicine, women's health clinics and more. 

 

Progressive Health Group (PHG) is the parent company of Progressive Health of Houston.

• In September 2019, Progressive Medical Management of Batesville LLC (PMMB) purchased the hospital (but not the behavioral health facility) and all its assets from bankruptcy.

• In 2023, Panola Medical Center was certified as a Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) on November 1st.

• In March 2024, PHG began a massive rebranding of all of its hospitals. Panola Medical Center is now doing business as Progressive Health of Batesville. The hospital is demonstrating consistent profitability.
